Day 25: Focus

Day 25: Your Assignment Will Require Your Total Focus! An important goal of satan is to break the focus of God's people from off of their Assignments. Focus is anything that consumes your time, energy, finances, and attention. So if satan can blur the focus of your assignment, he can master you. And if he can master you, he can bring pain to the heart of God, who is his only true enemy.
Jesus encouraged His disciples to keep their focus on the kingdom of God. He assured them that their financial provisions and everything they needed would be produced through absolute focus upon Him: Read Matthew 6:33 right now!
How do you destroy someone's goal? Give him another goal. How do you destroy another's dream? You give him another dream. Why? It fragments his focus. It dilutes his energy. Grasp these wisdom principles:
*Anything that has the ability to keep your attention...has mastered you. Your Assignment will require every thought, cent, and hour of your life.
*What you look at the longest... becomes strongest in your life. What are you looking at?
*Broken focus creates insecurity and instability in everything around you.
*Only focused faith can produce miracles from the hand of God.
*Sight affects desire: What you keep looking upon, you WILL eventually pursue.
*Focusing on the Word of God daily is necessary to complete your Assignment properly.
*Focusing, hearing, and speaking the Word of God continuously makes you INVINCIBLE. Keep Cd's playing the Word of God all throughout your house. It will wash your mind, purge your heart, and harness your focus.
*A friend is anyone who helps keep you focused on the instructions of God for your life. Get a buddy system going and stay accountable.
What you hear determines what you feel...What you hear also determines what you fear: Deut. 13:11 Control the music, movies, and teaching that enters your ears. STARVE wrong friendships.. I've said this many times, and I'm saying it again: Wrong friends DO NOT feed, fuel, or fertilize the total focus of your Assignment. Samson did not have to date everyone to get his hair cut.. It only required ONE wrong person to destroy his future.. Hello?
Pursue and Permit only those relationships that INCREASE your focus on your Assignment.
