Day 24: Discover your Assignment

Day 24 brings us to: Your Assignment is not your decision~it is your discovery! Here are some assignment clues that you need to know. God has specifically prepared events and situations for those who love Him. 1Cor. 2:9. You and I will only discover those things and events connected to our assignment by the Holy Spirit. 1Cor. 2:10. You MUST have the mind of Christ to discern your assignment. 1 Cor 2:16. Your gifts and skills were given to you by the Holy Spirit and they are different from others around you. 1Cor. 12:4,11 and Rom. 12:6
You really must look these Scriptures up and read them. Meditate on them.
*God NOT only has a plan
*God has a plan for your life
*His plan for your life will require your obedience: Isaiah 1:19-20
*His plan will require a personal decision on your part to cooperate
*His plan guarantees His blessing when completed: Deut: 28:1-3
*His plan gives you life Deut: 30:19
God decides what you are to do, your decision is to OBEY!

Think for a moment. Did the automobile instruct Ford and declare to him what it had decided to be? Of course not. Mr. Ford named it. Did the airplane inform the Wright brothers that it was going to fly and be called an airplane? Of course not. Orville and Wilbur Wright declared it to be so. And we know that God does not want anyone to perish. Yet, they do. Daily. Millions have perished without Christ. So even though you were predestined by God to be saved, it remains your decision to cooperate with Him and accept Him.
*The Creator DECIDES (what He has intended you to become)
*The creation DISCOVERS (the degree of obedience and cooperation to make it so)
Products do not decide, manufacturers decide.
Remember, you are the product of God. And He is the only One who can reveal the Assignment he decided for you at your birth.. I can only help you in discovering it.
