Day 26: Time

Day 26, Your Assignment will require time~more than you realize. Just as the peso is the currency of Mexico, the dollar is the currency of the U.S., the currency of earth is... time. God uses time to achieve His own goals on earth. He uses time to develop the seeds of greatness that He plants in the soil of people. Think about this, God did not give you friends, He gave you time, and you invested time into people and created friendships.
Someone has well said that it is impossible to save time and that you must simply learn to invest it wisely. Here are some tips to make time count:
* Focus on carefully planning the next 24 hours
* Concentrate on making each hour a productive hour.
* Schedule and hour of movement toward wisdom (reading the Word)
* Schedule an hour of prayer time
* Schedule an hour devoted to health (exercise)
* Schedule an hour to be with those you love: to mentor, motivate, etc
* Schedule an hour for restoration ( a nap, a tv show, something that is relaxing to you)
* Guard access to yourself. People hanging out with you should desire what you possess or must possess something you desire.
* Unclutter your life by uncluttering your day. Eliminate the things that God did not specifically tell you to do.
When you learn to create a perfect day, you can make it happen everyday of your life. And when you learn to take control of your time, the fruit of patience will become a powerful virtue in your life.
So take the time to discover your Assignment...
Then invest the time necessary to do it RIGHT. Once you recognize the time that your assignment will require, get ready to prepare. Get ready for God's seasons. Moses spent 40 years learning the wisdom of the Egyptians, and another 40 years learning the lessons of leadership and the priesthood. Jesus prepared 30 years for a 3.5 year public ministry.
