Snow

WOW, I stand amazed at God's goodness and mercy... I'm even more amazed at his faithfulness to me. I find myself noticing the little things that God does. My hubby and I watched thousands of geese flying in the sky the other day and were so mesmerized at how God takes care of them. How do they know when it's their turn to fly out in front? How do they know where they are going? Which goose says, 'Let's land here'? How do they know which group they will belong to? Do they stay with their group always? I finally give up on asking so many questions.
Today I was sitting by my fire with some coffee watching out the window as the snow came down. It was soooo beautiful! Something about watching it, made me feel so clean. Now, I understand why the song says wash me whiter than snow. I asked God to wash me as white as that snow falling down outside. I felt so good. Isn't He so faithful to do as we ask of Him? When we ask with the right spirit and attitude. He really does care about me more than those geese and more than the snow that falls. This week really made me appreciate nature and focus more on how God takes care of everything around us.
