I've had a few people tell me this week that they have questioned God in this manner, "Why Me"? It was very hard to counsel with them, but ( you know me :) I did it anyway... I admit I am NO authority on this... however, my advice was this.
Why not you? If God truly is no respecter of persons... and we all have sin in our life.. then why not you? If it rains on the just and the unjust, then why not you? Sin in our life brings consequences.. I ended my answer with... Pray.. Pray without ceasing.. pray when your heart is broken by someone you love.. Pray when the storms come. Pray when temptation comes. Just pray and when you think you have arrived... Pray some more.
Remember that as long as there is sin in our life.. we will have consequences to pay. We may even have generational sin that needs to be dealt with so we don't have to pay the price of their sin as well. I pray peace and rest over you and that His anointing will be so very strong during the good times as well as the bad times.
