Day 38: Opportunity

Day 38: Sometimes what we have seems small. It may only look like five loaves and two fish in comparison to what you need, but don't limit God the way the disciples did. Nothing is too small in His eyes. His resources are not limited to what you have. He is the source of all things, and His supply is limitless. Give Him what is in your hands, and allow Him to multiply it. The more we use our God-given potential, the more fulfilled and the happier we will be. It's not always easy to step through a door of opportunity, but sometimes we just have to be bold and go for it. It's sort of like getting into a cold swimming pool on a warm day; its a lot easier if you just jump right in! When an opportunity shows up, and you know it is right for you, don't let fear hold you back. You can't give yourself time to reason it all out, because you might talk yourself right out of it. You'll think of every excuse in the world to stay where you are. But remember, if God gives you the opportunity, He has already given you the ability to accomplish it.
