Our word for Day 4: Friends
Back in November, I was praying about what kind of friends I should surround myself with. God clearly told me to build friendships with people who TRULY respect God, my family, my ministry, my goals, and my future!!! Don't let just anyone speak into your life.. that's very dangerous.. Don't get advice from just anyone. Don't let people steal your time away from God. Don't be soooo busy with people, that you don't have or make time for Him. God told me to concentrate on becoming a good and faithful servant. Not a good and faithful religious person, not a good and faithful 'Christian'... but a good and faithful servant. He wanted me to concentrate on Him as a friend and learn how to be a friend and how to make friends, His way!!! He told me to serve Him, Love Him, get to know Him... He would be the only true friend I needed. He has given me everything that I am looking for in a friend.. He has watched over me. He has fought my battles. He is always honest with me... even when I ask Him if I look fat in this dress... teee heee.. seriously, He has been a very good friend to me. He has taught me what kind of friends I want to surround myself with now.
He is a friend who has NEVER forsaken me. He has been my constant companion. His Word speaks life to me.
He told me, "Cathie, Let Me be who I am... to you". Amen, Praise God somebody. What a friend!!
He's telling me even today, "I've got this, Cathie...IF you will let me have it."

Fasting prepares the way for God to give you fresh revelation, fresh vision, and clear purpose.
Keep Fasting.. We can do this.. Keep the faith.. Remember, Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.. Want more faith? Hear some more Word!!! It's that easy... it will make these 40 days of fasting soooo much more productive if we are all FULL of God's Word!!!!

I sure hope that we can be true friends in the Lord ... I sent you an email just this morning that was about the significance of each member of the body of Christ. You are so significant and I love your Spirit! Thank you for this blog and for being so honest with your feelings and your heart for God. It is helping me to dig in deeper, pray more and my hunger is growing. I needed this so much!!
