Marriage Prayer

I happened across this prayer and i love it. Just fill in 'him/her' where needed.


Father,

I said, 'til death do us part'.. I want to mean it.
Help me love YOU more than him/her.
and him/her more than anyone or anything else.
Help me bring him/her into Your presence today.
Make us one, like You are three-in-one.
I want to hear him/her, support him (cherish her) , and serve him/her
So he/she would love You more and we can bring You glory.
Amen

God is so faithful. I believe we need to pray for our spouses daily. My sweet husband lays hands on me before leaving the house and prays over me. Most times I have fallen back asleep, however I wake up refreshed just knowing that he has prayed for my day and the kids. He has never forgotten to pray over me and I love him for it. It really makes a difference.

If you aren't married, I suggest starting NOW. Pray for your spouse. Pray for the kind of marriage partner you want. God will bring you the right person. He will give you the desires of your heart. So get started now... don't delay. Pray for them daily. And when they come, you will know that they are the one you have prayed for.
